**UPDATE** Sayre Fire – Metrolink Information

7:30 AM

Service on Metrolink’s Antelope Valley and Inland Empire-Orange County Lines will resume normal operations beginning with the first regularly scheduled departures today (Monday 11/17). Inspections of tracks and signal systems have been completed and no damage from the recent fires was discovered. Passengers can expect some minor delays on both routes due to freight train congestion on the Inland Empire-Orange County Line and possible intermittent, fire-related power or communications outages in the Sylmar/San Fernando area along the Antelope Valley Line. A data line failure and a possible mountain radio base station failure have combined to affect up to 8 signal “control points” on the route. These locations will be staffed by up to 12 signals and communications field personnel who will manually align switches in anticipation of trains to ensure their safe and timely passage. Metrolink communications personnel will be escorted to the base station location tomorrow morning to investigate the condition of the radio tower and equipment and make any necessary repairs.

91 Line passengers may see some delays as well since their trains share the BNSF route with Inland Empire-Orange Countuy Line trains.

All other Metrolink service will operate on regular schedules today (Monday 11/17).
