Winter Storm Info – Metrolink Update
December 17, 2008 11:45 am11:45 am
Due to an unusually heavy snowfall in the Antelope Valley last night and today, trains on the Antelope Valley Line are currently delayed up to 45 minutes north of Via Princessa station. Delays are due to weather related signal outages and extremely limited visibility. Service is anticipated to be available all the way to Lancaster station unless the weather situation continues to deteriorate.
In addition, Metrolink has agreed to accept Antelope Valley Transit Authority (AVTA) and City of Santa Clarita Transit passengers and their tickets for return travel to the Antelope and Santa Clarita Valleys today and possibly tomorrow.
